This policy explains what Red Rock Softworks LLC (“we”, “us”) collects when you use redrocksoftworks.com, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. We're a software studio in Las Vegas, Nevada. Questions about this policy go to hello@redrocksoftworks.com.
What we collect
When you contact us
If you fill in the contact form we collect your name, email address, and message, plus anything else you choose to give us: your company, the kind of project, budget, and timeline. If you email us directly, we receive whatever is in your email.
When you browse the site
Our hosting provider records standard technical information for every request, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time. We also measure how the site is used: which pages are viewed, how visitors arrived, the type of device and browser, and an approximate location (country or city, derived from the IP address). We measure this without cookies, and we don't build profiles of individual visitors.
We don't use advertising trackers, and this site doesn't set cookies.
How we use it
- To reply to you and discuss a possible project.
- To keep a record of inquiries, so we can follow up and don't lose your message.
- To keep the site secure and working, including blocking spam and abuse.
- To understand which pages are useful, so we can improve the site.
We don't use your information for automated decisions about you.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your information, and we don't share it for advertising.
We use Microsoft to run our business. Microsoft Azure hosts this website, stores contact form submissions, and provides our site measurement. Microsoft 365 handles our email. Microsoft processes this information on our behalf and under its own security and privacy commitments.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, sale, or reorganization of our business, in which case this policy would continue to apply to it.
How long we keep it
We keep contact form submissions and related emails for up to 24 months after our last conversation, unless you become a client, in which case we keep them for as long as we work together and as needed for our business records. Technical logs and site measurement data are kept for up to 90 days.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email hello@redrocksoftworks.com and we'll respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first.
Nevada residents
We don't sell covered information as defined in Nevada law (NRS 603A). If you would still like to submit a request that we not sell your covered information in the future, email hello@redrocksoftworks.com and we'll confirm it.
Third parties don't collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites through this site.
Security
The site is served only over encrypted connections, and access to stored submissions is limited to the people who need it to reply to you. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you send us.
Children
This site is for businesses and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we'll update it here and change the effective date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll say so at the top of this page.
